Hollyoaks is a teen soap opera (yes, not technically a reality show) that plays every day around 6:30. If you took a drink every time someone cried you would have to get your stomach pumped. It is absurd how emotional people on this show are. Is it good? Not even a little. Is it addicting? ... Why yes!
Hollyoaks promo for a special episode that aired twice every commercial break for far too long.
The next two are modelled after shows like the Hills. The first one is made up of super rich people living in Kensington/Chelsea. Some of them are heirs to this and that - including Millie, whose grandfather owns (owned?) Quality Street chocolates. We are less than impressed that every calorie we consume makes her a little bit richer. Ollie, as seen below, is a real human being. We haven't figured him out yet but Clare and Niamh swear that they saw him on the subway last week. I don't know if it's harder to believe that he would ride the subway or that there is someone that looks exactly like him.

The last show is actually filmed pretty close to us. We experienced girls dressed a la Essex on the weekend when we went out nearby - Mini skirts and oh-so-much makeup to the local pub. We felt out of place but in the best way. People look like mutants. Much like Chloe, who you'll find below:

And that is your introductory course on reality television in the UK. Much more to come!
